HOSPITALITYMouse Tail Coffee
Fenchurch Avenue, London

Mouse Tail Coffee's first City site, delivered from concept to completion. The brief was to bring warmth into the heart of glass and concrete. Earthy tones, curved lines and a mix of seating for every need. A neighbourhood coffee shop where you wouldn't expect to find one.
TESTIMONIAL:

“Our vision was to have an open, minimalistic space that would still feel cosy and welcoming (which sounds like two opposing ideas). Mirjam made it happen! She has a great understanding of how space flows, and how to play with lighting to create a warm atmosphere.”

HOSPITALITYMorena
Marylebone, London

Morena chose St Christopher's Place for their second site, tucked into a former perfume shop and reworked to hold a full offer in a compact footprint. Limited seating, a coffee and matcha bar and a fresh cookie bakery all under one roof. A cafe that packs a lot into a little, without ever feeling that way.
TESTIMONIAL:

"We were opening our second location and looking for a designer who could create a concept from scratch while keeping it connected to our existing brand. Mirjam was an absolute pleasure to work with. Hands-on, highly responsive, and always available. She has a great eye for detail, thinks practically about how a space will operate day to day, and delivers."

RESIDENTIALRiverside
South-West London

A Thames-side flat, home to two cats and their devoted staff. The brief was more storage, less visual clutter and spaces that work harder. A stainless steel and terrazzo kitchen island, a wardrobe, storage solutions for every corner of the flat and a few things in between. Same footprint, better life.
Page_DownPage_UpPage_UpTESTIMONIAL:

"Mirjam was incredibly helpful in planning how to optimise our existing space. She understood exactly what we had in mind, came back with beautiful solutions, and was a steady guide through the renovation. HOSPITALITYMorena
Belgravia, London

The mezzanine at Morena Belgravia needed to feel calmer and better aligned with the brand. The starting point was a large print by Arty Guava, which set the tone for the colour palette, materials, and overall mood. Everything else followed from there. A refurbishment led by a piece of art, and finished by everything around it.

A pared-back white-and-black palette with deliberate pops of yellow, plywood used honestly throughout, and the clients' art collection given full rein. Covent Garden, London

Consultancy for Godfrey's, London's first dedicated popcorn shop, in a listed building on the edge of Covent Garden. A tight brief, a clear vision, and a genuinely fun product to build a space around.

TESTIMONIAL:

"We brought Inside Job Studio on board for the launch of London's first craft popcorn store in Covent Garden. We wanted the space to feel nostalgic, memorable, and unlike anything else around us. Mirjam was incredibly easy to work with, listened carefully to what we wanted, and always came back with ideas that improved on our initial concepts. The finished space exceeded our expectations. It feels unique, fun and nostalgic, but it's also incredibly practical to work in every day. Customers comment on the design all the time.”
